ECW Heatwave 2018
July 29, 2018
Event #21

-During the Ken Kennedy vs. Tommy Dreamer match, Dreamer hung Kennedy upside
down on the turnbuckle and placed a steel chair over his face. Cactus Jack
quickly slid into the ring and smashed Dreamer across the face with a steel
chair. Kennedy got to his feet and executed the Cactus Elbow from the top rope
onto Dreamer. Kennedy covered Dreamer as Referee Mike Kehner counted the fall
and awarded the match to Kennedy.

-During the Raven vs. Samoa Joe match, Joe mounted Raven and commenced
pummeling him with fists and elbows. The debuting Christopher Daniels hopped
the guard rail and pulled Joe off of Raven and executed the Last Rites on Joe.
Daniels got a steel chair from ringside and began breaking it over Joe's face.
Daniels busted Joe open with a final chair shot as Referee Jim Mollineux called
for the bell and awarded the match to Raven. Raven and Daniels left the ring to
boos from the crowd as Joe lay on the mat bleeding.

-During the Three Way Dance for the ECW World Tag Team Championship between
champions The Dudley Boyz and challengers The Impact Players and Briscoe
Brothers, The Dudley Boyz beat down The Briscoe Brothers and tossed them to
the ringside floor. The Dudley Boyz prepared Justin Credible for the Dudley
Death Drop with Simon Diamond and Swinger hit the ring and laid them out.
Diamond and Swinger beat down The Impact Players and proceeded to do the same
to The Briscoe Brothers. Diamond and Swinger executed the Problem Solver on
Buh Buh Ray and then D-Von and beat down Referee John Finnegean. Diamond and
Swinger posed over all six men as the match was ruled a no-contest.

-During the ECW World Television Championship match between champion Bryan
Danielson and challenger Steve Corino, Jack Victory and Rhino stood in the
corner of Corino. Throughout the match, Corino used cheap tactis such as low
blows and eye pokes to gain the advantage over Danielson. Corino strutted
around the ring as Danielson sprung to his feet and executed a bridging Dragon
suplex on Corino for the count. Referee Jim Mollineux began counting, when Jack
Victory stopped him. C.W. Anderson and Jerry Lynn hit the ring. Anderson
executed the Anderson Spinebuster on Danielson as Lynn came flying off the
top rope with a guillotine leg drop. Victory pulled Danielson up off the mat
for a Gore from Rhino. Corino quickly small packaged Danielson for the three
count and victory. Corino sprung to his feet in celebration and was handed the
ECW World Television Championship. Corino, Rhino, Lynn and Anderson all made a
four symbol with their hands, forming the Extreme Horsemen.

-During the ECW World Heavyweight Championship match between champion CM Punk
and challenger The Sandman, The Sandman beat down Punk with a Singapore cane
and pulled a beer out from his pocket. Sandman opened the beer and prepared to
pour it on Punk when Taz hit the ring and applied the Tazmission to The
Sandman. Taz choked out The Sandman and squared off with Punk. Taz executed the
Capture Taz-Plex on Punk and laid him on top of The Sandman. Taz told Referee
John Finnegean to count the fall and he did, awarding the match to Punk.

Interview:
Raven interview

("Come Out and Play" by The Offspring played as Raven came to the ring with a
bandage on his forehead.)

Raven: Being brutally pummeled and laid to taste your own blood is something I
have experienced in the past and in which I have now experienced from that of
Samoa Joe. Joe, I hope you let out so much of your anger, but I'm still
standing and I will not be quieted by a man the likes of you. Joe, I can see
you want another crack at me; I have no problem obliging you as I'm not the one
who is trying to prove anything. Joe, as much as you may deny it, you're trying
to prove yourself to me, these fans, Paul Heyman and yourself. Joe, if you want
to rip my face off my body and smear my blood across your chest, then let's at
least give me a chance to do the same to you. Samoa Joe, since you think you're
a big tough guy, let's see how you like it when your own blood drips from your
body and the referee calls for the bell. Samoa Joe, what I propose we do is
schedule a First Blood Match for ECW Heatwave.

(The fans cheered. "The Champ is Here" by Jadakiss played as Samoa Joe came to
the ring to cheers from the crowd. Paul Heyman and a group of officials stood
by in the aisle way.)

Samoa Joe: I'm not going to come out here and spew meaningless words. I accept
and I'll see you at Heatwave; I'll be the guy wiping your blood off my hands.

Raven: Samoa Joe, you're slowly, but surely growing into a man with an ego to
big for a man who has yet to accomplish a thing.

(Raven posed in front of Joe and proceeded to left the ring.)

Interview:
Dudley Boyz interview

("Highway to Hell" by AC/DC played as the ECW World Tag Team Champions The
Dudley Boyz: Buh Buh Ray & D-Von Dudley came to the ring to boos from the
crowd.)

Buh Buh Ray Dudley: Respect is an assumption of good faith and competence in
another person or in the whole of oneself. Depth of integrity, trust,
complementary moral values, and skill are necessary components. The Impact
Players have proven, once again, that they have no respect for The Dudley Boyz,
no respect for The Briscoe Brothers and no respect for the ECW World Tag Team
Championship. Getting involved in a tag team championship match that doesn't
concern you insults me, D-Von and the championship itself. Credible, Storm, you
two have always been punks and if that's how you want to go throughout your
stay in ECW, that's fine by us, because we're going to treat you like punks.

D-Von Dudley: Oh, my brother...testify!

Interview:
Impact Players interview

("Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" by Grinspoon played as The Impact Players:
Justin Credible and Lance Storm came to the ring to boos from the crowd.)

Justin Credible: Greatest tag team in the history of ECW? Is that what The
Dudley Boyz consider themselves? The Briscoe Brothers waltz into ECW and are
handed a World Tag Team Championship match? Who the fuck are The Briscoe
Brothers and what the fuck have they ever done in ECW? You're looking at the
most deadly combination ever put together in ECW history and we get kicked
aside so Paul Heyman can watch four stiffs throw each other through tables.
Well, Paul, I don't think so. Whenever The Dudleyz or Briscoes move, we'll be
right behind him. Whenever the ECW World Tag Team Championship belts are held
in the air, you'll hear the name of impact. Whenever a tag team match in ECW is
under way, The Impact Players will be watching. Briscoes, I'd listen real
close. You two boys want to get yourselves to the top; you need to make an
impact. I'm not talking about getting punked out by The Dudley Boyz, I'm taking
about taking The Dudleyz and breaking their fucking heads. Now that's not just
the coolest! That's not just the best!

Lance Storm: That's from Calgary...Alberta, Canada.

Justin Credible: THAT, my friends... is Justin... Credible!

7/7/18: ECW Hardcore Happening #8

Interview:
CM Punk Interview

("Miseria Cantare - The Beginning by AFI" played as ECW World Heavyweight
Champion CM Punk came to the ring to boos from the crowd.)

CM Punk: The Sandman. Every ECW fan's hero. The Extreme Icon. The man who
drinks a case of beer before ever stepping foot in the ring. The man who still
to this day smokes unfiltered cigarettes. Sandman, perhaps had you listened to
my advice, you wouldn't have blown up sixty seconds into the match.

(Punk made an X with his arms as the fans booed him.)

CM Punk: You can boo me all you like, but remember one thing, my words speak
the truth and I will still be the ECW World Heavyweight Champion when all of
you people go home tonight. Just because your hero The Sandman's body is
destroyed doesn't mean you have to do the same to all of yours. Being like The
Sandman is a decision that no father should subject his child to. A decision
that no mother should subject her daughter to. A decision that no professional
wrestler should subject his body to. Sandman, you have been defeated by your
better and now you get to live with the fact that your disgusting, mangled body
is nothing more than a prop for me to get over with.

("Enter Sandman" by Metallica played as The Sandman (with a Singapore cane)
came to the ring to huge cheers from the crowd with a lit cigarette in his
mouth.)

The Sandman: CM Punk, it's pretty clear to me that you're one of those people
who feel he needs to make other people think the way he does. It's no wonder
you hang around with Raven. You two dickheads deserve each other. But in the
end, you two aren't anything more than a couple of assholes who don't have
anyone else. Punk, I'd recommend you shut your mouth before I shove my lit
cigarette up your fucking ass.

CM Punk: Sandman, you truly are a laugh riot. Funniest part about your
statements are that you are the even bigger asshole for running around,
pretending you're some great hero as you tell all of these people what to think
with your actions; you're no saint and in my estimation, you're one of those
guys who has to beaten into submission.

The Sandman: Nobody has and nobody will ever beat me into submission, except my
wife and after she's done beating, I get to go to sleep.

(Taz quickly hit the ring and applied the Tazmission to The Sandman. Taz
suplexed The Sandman into the turnbuckle and sprung to his feet. Taz pointed to
Punk's ECW World Heavyweight Championship as Punk slid out of the ring and
walked backstage.)

Taz: CM PUNK! You fucking coward! If you're already running, then you're in for
a short fucking reign as champion of my fucking company! Sandman, laying there
on the mat, you've got to understand what I've already stated. What's mine is
mine and that's the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Sandman, you got in the
way and you got what you had coming; sucks to be you.

(Taz left the ring as The Sandman slowly got to his feet and collected
himself.)

Interview:
Steve Corino interview

("Come With Me" by Puff Daddy & Jimmy Page played as Steve Corino came to the
ring, flanked by Rhino and Jack Victory.)

Steve Corino: Bryan, in studying you at Hostile City Showdown, I take it you
didn't watch my wrestling lesson of a few weeks ago. Bryan, there's no more
time for me to help you improve yourself. For you see, at ECW Heatwave, the
match maker has informed me that it's my time, one-on-one, to wrestle you for
your ECW World Television Championship. That's right, Mr. Dragon. ECW Heatwave,
it's ECW's version of Mr. Wrestling-me versus a green, mark for himself Bill
Goldberg-you. Oh, Mr. Dragon, don't worry, I won't embarrass you too much. Just
enough to walk past you with the title. Dragon, titles are made for a men who
understand how to wrestle, not men who plays to the marks in the twenty fifth
row. Danielson, it's the right thing for everybody for you to simply give it
your best and stand aside as a real wrestler stakes his claim to the
championship. Don't you worry though, there always be a spot for you carrying
my bags into the arena. See you at the show!

Interview:
Raven interview

("Come Out and Play" by The Offspring played as Raven came to the ring to boos
from the crowd. Raven slumped into the corner and was handed a microphone by
Ring Announcer Bob Artese.)

Raven: Samoa Joe has been toppled by yours truly and I have been proven correct
once again. Samoa Joe couldn't cut it in ECW and now he may as well go back to
the PWF and pretend to be a tough guy there.

(Samoa Joe marched to the ring.)

Samoa Joe: Raven, I told you before and I'll tell you again, shut your fucking
mouth before I put my fucking boot in it.

Raven: Samoa Joe, your words don't frighten me in the slightest, nor have they
ever. If you feel better about yourself by swearing and threatening people,
then do it elsewhere. Out here in this ring, you're nothing more than a man who
wanted it and couldn't get it.

(Joe turned his back to leave the ring and quickly turned back around and
drilled Raven in the face with a running low Yakuza kick. Joe proceeded to
scrape his boot over Raven's face. Joe pulled Raven up off the mat and
commenced pummeling him with elbows and fists. Raven's Nest members CM Punk,
Scotty Anton and Abyss hit the ring and stood between Joe and Raven. Joe
leg-sweeped Anton and punched Abyss in the throat. Joe grabbed Punk by the hair
and press-slammed him from the ring to the concrete floor. Joe straddled Raven
and threw elbow upon elbow to the face of Raven as blood began to ooze out of
Raven's face. Joe executed a Dragon suplex on Raven and smeared his blood
across his own chest. Paul Heyman came to the ring with a group of ECW
officials. Heyman attempted to calm Joe down, as the officials tended to Raven.
The officials helped Raven to his feet and tried to bring him backstage, but
Joe grabbed Raven and commenced pummeling him with fists to his already
bleeding face. Heyman pushed Joe back as the officials helped Raven backstage.
Joe grabbed Heyman by the throat and threw him backward into the ropes. The
fans cheered Joe as he left the ring.)

Interview:
Ken Kennedy & Cactus Jack interview

("Ghost of the Navigator" by Iron Maiden played as Ken Kennedy came to the ring
with Cactus Jack to boos from the crowd.)

Cactus Jack: All I've had to listen to is, why do something like that to Tommy
Dreamer? Why do that to Tommy? What did Tommy ever do to you? My answer is
quite simple. If Kennedy ever wants to be like Cactus Jack, then he is to do as
Cactus does and that means the willingness to fight any man, woman or child at
any moment. Tommy Dreamer also happens to be the perfect foe for our Kennedy
here, because Tommy you see is and probably always will be the guy most
associated with ECW. Who better to make your presence felt against than good
old Tommy Dreamer.

Ken Kennedy: Tommy Dreamer, you were once a young man who walked through the
door of ECW and was immediately rejected by its fans. I know that feeling,
because I currently live it. Dreamer, you may be the heart of ECW, but I will
be the brains and even with a heart pumping blood, the brain tells the heart
what to do.

(Cactus patted Kennedy on the back as "Man in a Box" by Alice in Chains played.
Tommy Dreamer came to the ring to cheers from the crowd.)

Tommy Dreamer: Cactus, I'd love to know why you are wasting your time with a
double crossing piece of garbage like Kennedy, but I know I won't get an honest
answer so I'm not even going to waste my time. Kennedy, you want to be the
brains of ECW? The brains of ECW are sitting in metal folding cheers throughout
this arena right now; not standing in the ring gloating about himself. You've
picked a fight with the one guy who has lived through every man who has ever
passed through ECW and if you think I'm worried about dealing with you, then
you really haven't ever seen any ECW. Kennedy, I've dealt with a laundry list
of guys before you and will after you. Kennedy, you messing with you me to try
and get over doesn't bother me one bit, because when it's done with, I won't be
the guy who has to go crawling back to the PWF.

(Kennedy approached Dreamer and slapped him across the face. Dreamer looked
toward the crowd and immediately tackled Kennedy. Cactus pulled Kennedy out of
the ring and brought him backstage as Dreamer played to the crowd to cheers.)

Taz interview

(Backstage, Taz stood at the interview area with Joey Styles.)

Taz: They pat you on the back on Sunday, they fuck you on Monday. Welcome to
the life of a member of ECW. I have still YET to take my anger and vengeance
out on somebody for what Raven and CM Punk did at Cyberslam and if you think
I'm going to sit around and wait forever, then everybody in this fucking
company is out of their mind. I'm not one to toot my own horn in this regard,
but without me running through ECW and making it what it was; there wouldn't be
a promotion worthy of bringing back. Now, whether it be Paul Heyman, Raven or
CM Punk, one of you sons-of-bitches will give me what I want, because what's
mine is mine and I want what the fuck is mine! ECW World Heavyweight
Championship and Taz just makes too much sense to deny, CM Punk, I'm gonna get
my hands around your skinny little neck and choke you the fuck out!

ECW Hostile City Showdown 2018
June 29, 2018
Event #15

-During the Justin Credible vs. Tommy Dreamer match, Cactus Jack and Ken Kennedy came to ringside and stood and watched the match. Eventually, Dreamer connected with a DDT on Credible and hung Credible in the tree of woe. Dreamer got a steel chair from ringside and laid it over the face of the upside down Credible. Dreamer prepared to drive the chair into the face of Credible, but before doing so, Kennedy quickly slid into the ring and laid Dreamer out with a clothesline. Kennedy took the steel chair and smashed Dreamer over the head with it. Kennedy tossed the chair aside and stood at ringside as Credible got to his feet and executed That's Incredible on Dreamer for the victory with Kennedy and Cactus watching the pinfall, prior to leaving the ringside area.

-During the ECW World Tag Team Championship match between champions The Dudley Boyz and challengers The Briscoe Brothers, both teams brawled around ringside and through the crowd for most of the match. As they came back into the ring, Buh Buh Ray executed the Buh Buh Cutter on Mark Briscoe as Jay Briscoe executed the J-Driller on D-Von. Buh Buh Ray and Jay Briscoe squared off as The Impact Players: Justin Credible and Lance Storm hit the ring. Credible smashed both men over the head with a Singapore cane. Credible and Storm picked D-Von and Mark Briscoe up off the mat and administered stereo piledrivers on them. Credible and Storm left the ring with all four men laying on their backs, leaving Referee John Finnegean to declare the match a no-contest.

-Following the event, Umaga left ECW.

Interview:
Raven-Samoa Joe interview

("Come Out and Play" by The Offspring played as Raven came to the ring with
Scotty Anton to boos from the crowd.)

Raven: Samoa Joe, you stepped in the ring with CM Punk and I and you failed.
Joe, as I've told you before, you do not belong in ECW and you will never
succeed in ECW. Joe, you don't have what it takes to step into an ECW ring with
me and stand toe-to-toe. Joe, it's a simple matter of the weak, defenseless
animal being mauled by that of his superior. Samoa Joe, you need to remember
that I'm not the one who has to prove himself; you are.

("The Champ is Here" by Jadakiss played as Samoa Joe came to the ring to cheers
from the crowd.)

Samoa Joe: Raven, I'm sick and fucking tired of listening to you tell me know
it is around here. If you want to call me out, just do it, but don't come out
here and go on and on about how I don't belong in ECW. You want to throw down,
let's go, make a move. I'm standing here; two-on-one and you don't see me
hiding behind a microphone.

Raven: Joe, now is not the place and now is not the time. You're in an advanced
state of anger. I know that feeling and I know what to do with it. I don't
wrestle on your terms or anyone else's terms, except my own.

Samoa Joe: Sounds to me, like you're nothing, but a pussy.

Raven: How appropriate. A simple insult, from a simple man. How fitting,
indeed.

(Joe grabbed Raven by the throat as Anton quickly chop blocked Joe and took him
down to the mat. Anton attempted to apply The Clap to Joe, but was kicked off
and laid out with a lariat. Raven quickly Evenflow DDTed Joe into the mat.)

Raven: Samoa Joe is nothing more than a hot-head, wannabe who thinks he's going
to run through ECW like he did the PWF. Joe, when you come-to, you're realize
you've been beaten, once again...by your better.

Interview:
Steve Corino's Wrestling Lesson

("Come With Me" by Puff Daddy & Jimmy Page played as Steve Corino came to the
ring with Rhino and Jack Victory.)

Steve Corino: Bryan Danielson proved to the world at Hardcore Heaven that he
truly is something special. He went out there and beat "The Man Beast" Rhino.
However, in watching Danielson's work in the ring, it occurs to me, he really
isn't very technically sound. So, I've decided that to show everyone in ECW how
to properly execute some of the holds Bryan Danielson attempts to use. We've
got a very special guest to help us out here tonight and he's none other than
ECW alumni and a man, who trained Bryan Danielson, Tracy Smothers!

("Stayin' Alive" by N-Trance played as Tracy Smothers came to the ring to a
chant of "Welcome Back!")

Steve Corino: Tracy, you and I both know that Bryan Danielson is a highly
overrated wrestler, who in actuality doesn't know how to properly apply so many
of the holds he uses. So, let's show Danielson how to properly apply so many of
those holds. We'll start off with a very simple side headlock.

(Corino handed the microphone to Victory who held it to Corino's mouth as he
applied a side headlock to Smothers.)

Steve Corino: Danielson typically doesn't apply proper pressure for this move
to work. The way I have it on, this is easily the most devastating submission
hold of all time. Danielson gets lazy and generally just holds his opponent's
head to his stomach and thinks he's causing the opponent some time of
discomfort, when in fact, the opponent is glad to kill sixty seconds standing
there, wasting everyone's time.

(Corino worked his way around Smothers and applied a crossface chickenwing to
Smothers.)

Steve Corino: Now we have a very simple maneuver to apply, that being the
crossface chickenwing. Again, Danielson typically becomes lazy, trying to
survive on that of praise from previous matches. In order to make this move
truly work, you really need to wrench the arm and jerk the head; Danielson
doesn't do that.

(Corino proceeded to release the hold and apply a full nelson to Smothers.)

Steve Corino: Here, we're going to show you all how to properly execute a move
Danielson uses on a nightly basis, a bridging dragon suplex.

(Corino executed the bridging dragon suplex on Smothers and quickly got to his
feet.)

Steve Corino: In releasing Tracy's neck firmly onto the mat, I've successfully
applied enough pain and discomfort for Tracy's shoulders to stay pinned to the
mat for a standard three count. However, we're all friends here, so it's only
right for me to allow Tracy to leave here without being seriously injured.

(Corino helped Smothers to his feet and shook his hand.)

Steve Corino: Rhino, take care of him, please.

(Rhino Gored Smothers.)

Steve Corino: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this has been pro-wrestling
101, a class directed, produced and administered by "The King of Old School"
and the best in the world, Steve Corino!

(Corino strutted around the ring as Danielson sprinted to the ring and tackled
Corino. Danielson began striking Corino with elbows as Rhino and Victory pulled
Danielson off of Corino. Corino stumbled from the ring and instructed Rhino and
Victory to follow him as Danielson helped Smothers to his feet.)

Interview:
Ken Kennedy interview

("Ghost of the Navigator" by Iron Maiden played as Ken Kennedy came to the ring
to boos from the crowd.)

Ken Kennedy: In joining ECW back in March, I was thrown a curveball by Paul
Heyman. Paul E. and I left the PWF, others followed. Then we get to the ECW
Arena and Paul E. basically tells me to go fuck myself. My Kennedy Alliance
turned their backs on me and ever since that tactical move by Paul E., I
haven't been able to do what I do best: win. Some of may say that it's because
I'm not built for ECW. Maybe I don't have what it takes to be a part of ECW.
Thus far, all my detractors would be proven correct. That is, until today. In
joining ECW, I guess you could say I didn't truly know what to expect. I didn't
have the proper tutelage or wherewithal and now I do. Because now, I've got a
man willing to mold me into what he is. I've got man in my ear telling me what
it takes to reach the peaks of ECW. I've got myself a running partner and his
name is Cactus Jack.

("Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf played as Cactus Jack came to the ring to
huge cheers and "Welcome Back" chants from the crowd.)

Cactus Jack: Kennedy, you've told me you're willing to pay the price: to sweat,
to bleed, to suffer. You're willing to bare that cross.

(Cactus struck Kennedy with a right fist across the jaw as the fans cheered.)

Cactus Jack: Bang, bang! Kennedy, for you to want to be like me may be the most
disturbing statement a man can make. Nobody should ever want to be like Cactus
Jack, because to be Cactus Jack isn't just the adulation of thousands of fans
nation wide-it's the embarrassment of million of people world wide as they
recoil in horror in looking at me. Kennedy, as this pertains to you, if you
want me to help you and if you me to take you under my wind as my protégé, you
have to tell not just these people you want it, not just me you want it, not
just Paul Heyman you want it. You have to tell yourself you want it! Kennedy,
accept this thrashing as your welcome mat to the house of extreme, courtesy of
your local toothless real estate agent...

(Cactus clotheslined Kennedy and brought a chair into the ring. Cactus smashed
Kennedy over the head with the chair in succession fives times and proceeded to
execute the Cactus Elbow from the top rope onto Kennedy. Cactus whiped the
blood of Kennedy onto the ring mat and picked Kennedy up off the mat. Cactus
helped Kennedy backstage.)

Interview:
CM Punk interview

("Miseria Cantare - The Beginning" by AFI played as ECW World Heavyweight
Champion CM Punk came to the ring with Abyss.)

CM Punk: ECW Hardcore Heaven was a moderate success at best for Raven's Nest,
which includes me and with me under the tutelage of Raven, I've already staked
my claim as the cornerstone of ECW. ECW Hardcore Heaven was a failure in a few
ways. Firstly, the failures of Abyss and Scotty Anton are quite telling to
Raven and I. I can only hope that it's a blip and that it's understood,
everybody is replaceable. The other instance of failure lays on the shoulders
of Samoa Joe, who has still yet to even show-up as it pertains to defending
himself. Joe, I've handed your life over to Raven and Raven assures me, he
knows how to handle a big mouth, wannabe such as yourself. For me, disgusting
is the other word I feel appropriate following ECW Hardcore Heaven. Disgusting
would be that of The Sandman. I was in the ring with The Sandman at ECW
Hardcore Heaven and the man had the stench of beer on his breath and his skin
oozed tobacco. Sandman, of course it's your choice in life to destroy your body
and mind by indulging in such things, but it's always my choice not to.

(Punk made an X with his arms as the fans booed him.)

CM Punk: Sandman, not only am I the ECW World Heavyweight Champion, I am
straight edge and my lifestyle will not be impeded by drunken stumblebum who
chain smokes a pack of cigarettes prior to wrestling a match.

("Enter Sandman" by Metallica played as The Sandman came to the ring with
Singapore cane in hand to huge cheers from the crowd. The Sandman stood face to
face with Punk and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. Sandman lit a cigarette and
blew the smoke in Punk's face. Punk slapped the cigarette out of the mouth of
The Sandman as the crowd awed. The Sandman took a beer out from his pocket and
guzzled it in front of Punk. Punk grabbed the beer can from The Sandman and
threw it down the aisle way and made an X with his arms.)

CM Punk: Sandman, this is a wrestling ring and inside this wrestling ring, my
wrestling ring, there's no place for actions like yours.

(The Sandman cracked Abyss in the head with his Singapore cane and grabbed Punk
by the hair.)

CM Punk: Sandman, assaulting me will not change my opinion of you and will not
alter my lifestyle one bit. You're a disgrace.

(The Sandman took a swing at Punk, but Punk ducked out of the slid out of the
ring as the fans booed. Punk made an X with his arms and left the ringside area
as the fans booed him, while The Sandman lit another cigarette to cheers from
the crowd.)

Interview:
Samoa Joe interview

("War Machine" by KISS played as Samoa Joe came to the ring to cheers from the
crowd.)

Samoa Joe: From the PWF to ECW, I'm still being fucked with by a bunch of
cowards who refuse to fend for themselves. In the PWF, the list is endless, but
most recently, it was Ken Kennedy. Kennedy has wisely stayed out of way in ECW
and if I were you Kennedy, I'd recommend you never approach me again. In ECW,
we've got CM Punk, a man I used to hold some respect for, but now realize that
I never will ever again. Punk, you piece of fucking shit. You couldn't get the
job done by yourself, so you send Raven, Scotty Anton and Abyss after me. Punk,
you're nothing, but a fucking coward. Punk, bring yourself out here, so I can
put my boot through your fucking face.

("Come Out and Play" by The Offspring played as Raven came to the ring with
Abyss.)

Raven: A typical reaction from a typical hothead. Joe, do you feel it helps you
soothe your defeat by yelling and swearing in front of innocent people? Does it
make you feel like a strong man who is going to have the world handed to him on
a silver platter? Joe, it seems that you have had a problem dealing with groups
of men who dislike you and will thwart you at every turn, but I think that's
because you dislike yourself. Joe, deep down, you understand what I've already
said and that is that you have business holding a championship that doesn't
belong to you. Samoa Joe, you are not ECW and you don't know what ECW is about.
If you think it's about one man yelling and threatening another, you've watched
too much Vince McMahon television. Joe, if you feel you need to unleash your
anger, go right ahead, I'm standing right in front of you, but I assure you,
you will never get your hands on something that you have no connection to and
you will never escape your fate as a weak man who can't handle a little
competition. Nothing can do to me, will harm me as much as my words harm you.

(Joe paused and grabbed Raven by the throat. Raven stood, not defending himself
as ECW World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk jumped the guard rail and laid Joe
out with a shot across the face with the ECW World Heavyweight Championship
belt. Raven glanced at Joe and left the ring as Punk made an X with his arms
toward the crowd as they booed him out of the building. Punk left the ring with
Abyss.)

Interview:
The Dudley Boyz interview

("Highway to Hell" by AC/DC played as the ECW World Tag Team Champions The
Dudley Boyz: Buh Buh Ray & D-Von Dudley came to the ring to boos from the
crowd.)

Buh Buh Ray Dudley: I woke up this morning and began to wonder, what the fuck
am I doing here? I rolled over and sitting on my desk was my ECW World Tag Team
Championship belt and it dawned on me...that's why. You people are looking at
the greatest tag team in the history of ECW and quite frankly, the greatest tag
team in any company on the planet today. Like or hate us, the latter is
generally the case, there isn't a team in this company or any other company who
can touch what D-Von and I have done as a unit. For those reasons and many
more, we're putting the rest of the locker room on notice. Any combination of
men who feel they're man enough to step up and take our titles from us, we want
to hear from you right now or not at all.

D-Von Dudley: Oh my brother, testify!

(The Dudley Boyz leaned against the ropes as they waited for a team to step
forward.)

Buh Buh Ray Dudley: Big fuckin' surprise. New lease on life for ECW, same group
of faggots from before. Paul E., I thought you would have at least come up with
one team who were man enough to get their necks snapped, but I guess not.

(As The Dudley Boyz began to leave the ring, "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynynrd
Skynyrd played as The Briscoe Brothers: Jay & Mark Briscoe came to the ring.)

Buh Buh Ray Dudley: Well, look at what we have here. D-Von, it's the two punks
who couldn't get the job done at Cyberslam. It's the two punks who are another
team on the long list of teams that have been handed their ass by us. It's
those two fucking losers, The Briscoe Brothers.

(The Briscoe Brothers stepped into the ring and squared off with The Dudley
Boyz. Jay Briscoe took the microphone from Buh Buh Ray Dudley.)

Jay Briscoe: Buh Buh Ray, D-Von, I can't speak for the rest of ECW, but I can
speak for myself and for my brother Mark. Why don't you two shut your mouths
for once in your lives and let your fists dictate the speech, instead of the
other way around.

Buh Buh Ray Dudley: D-Von, looks like we've got two boys here who don't respect
their elders and are in need of a wake-up call as to how things work in ECW.
Get the tables...

(D-Von attempted to slide out of the ring, but was met with a superkick from
Mark Briscoe. Buh Buh Ray Dudley grabbed Jay Briscoe by the throat. Mark
suplexed Buh Buh Ray from behind as Jay Briscoe climbed the top rope. D-Von got
to his feet and The Dudley Boyz quickly executed the Dudley Death Drop to Mark
Briscoe. Buh Buh Ray pulled Jay Briscoe down from the ropes and held him in a
choke sleeper. D-Von got a table from ringside as Buh Buh Ray climbed the top
rope with Jay Briscoe. Buh Buh Ray power bombed Jay Briscoe through the table as
D-Von gave The Briscoe Brothers their last rites. The Dudley Boyz left the ring

Interview:
Raven's Nest interview

("Come Out and Play" by The Offspring played as Raven's Nest: ECW World
Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Scotty Anton, Abyss and Raven came to the ring to
boos from the crowd. Raven slumped into the corner and was handed a microphone
by Anton.)

Raven: Wallowing in a sea of obscurity, Scott Levy was located by Phil Brooks.
Phil Brooks and Scott Levy have done battle before. We've known each other,
but only for a brief period. Phil Brooks wanted Scott Levy to bring what he
had left to the new ECW and Scott Levy has done that. Inside Scott Levy, Raven
lives, Raven grows and Raven dies. Inside Scotty Levy, Raven's heart is still
pumping and his mind is still well. To many of you ECW fans, we look like the
bad guys now; Costing Samoa Joe the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, costing
Samoa Joe his chance to stake his claim as a true member of the tribe of
extreme. I say to you, that we are not the villains, Samoa Joe is. Samoa Joe is
clearly angry and perturbed at the proceeding events at ECW CyberSlam, but it's
best to remember where Samoa Joe came from. Samoa Joe is not ECW and Samoa Joe
is not one of you. To all ECW fans, I tell you know, the ECW you know is
talking to you right now and explaining to you that I am ECW, not Samoa Joe.
Not Ken Kennedy. Not Bryan Danielson. Those men don't know what it's like to be
extreme. My nest are the not the villains. The villains are those who try and
pass themselves off as ECW. ECW lives because the likes of me and a man like CM
Punk are here. CM Punk is behind his time and would have fit in with ECW when
it became what it is remembered as. Samoa Joe, you may pretend to be an extreme
fighter, but you and I both know, you're a phony who takes orders and does what
somebody wants you to do. Samoa Joe, you are not worthy of ECW and you are not
worthy of being its champion. So it is written, so it shall come to pass. Quote

Steve Corino interview

("Come With Me" by Puff Daddy & Jimmy Page played as Steve Corino came to the
ring with Jack Victory to boos from the crowd.)

Steve Corino: The King of Old School is back in his old stomping grounds and I
see very little has changed. We've got a company that has recently started back
up and it already lacks a man to teach all of you people what wrestling truly
is-old school style!

(Corino strutted around the ring and high-fived Victory.)

Steve Corino: There's a man in ECW right now who is a champion. There's a man
in ECW right now who seems to feel he is the best in the world. There's a man
in ECW right who has already gone through Rob Van Dam and yours truly. That man
is Bryan Danielson. Danielson, you waltz into ECW and you win the ECW World
Television Championship. Like other ECW stars of the past I know, I'm not very
happy! Bryan Danielson, you think because you tell everybody you're the best in
the world that you really are. Fact is you're no match for the scintillating,
science that is the King of Old School. Danielson! Anytime, any place! Mr.
Champion. Why don't you show the entire ECW communion what is means to be the
best in the world!

(Danielson came to the ring with his title belt around his waist as Corino and
Victory taunted him. Danielson climbed into the ring and immediately was met
with a Gore by Rhino. Rhino snarled at the crowd as Corino placed a foot over
Danielson with Victory counting the fake fall. Corino picked Danielson's head
up off the mat and spoke right to his face.)

Steve Corino: Best in the world, if you can hear me, your luck can change just
like that inside an ECW ring. Just like that!
